Therapy for
LGBTQ Folx

Searching for a therapist who is part of your community?

This practice is rooted in LGBTQ+ affirming care, which means your identity is never up for debate and never the "issue" we're solving. The actual work might be anxiety, grief, relationship patterns, or old wounds from religion or family — your identity is simply the lens we bring to understanding them, with cultural context that doesn't need to be explained from scratch.

Sessions are collaborative and paced by you. Whether you're just beginning to ask questions about yourself or you've known who you are for years and are working through something else entirely, this is a space built to hold the whole picture.

You might be in the right place if...

  • You're exploring or questioning your sexual orientation or gender identity, at any age or stage

  • You grew up in a religious environment that shaped how you see yourself — for better or worse

  • You're processing shame, guilt, or fear rooted in religious teachings about who you are

  • You're craving real community and don't know how to build it

  • You're navigating relationship dynamics — dating, partnership, non-monogamy, chosen family — that don't fit a script you were handed

  • You're tired of therapists who are "allies" but don't really understand

  • You want a space where your identity is assumed to be whole, not something to justify

You deserve a therapist who understands you without translation.

Whatever brought you here — questions about identity, wounds from religion, a longing for community, or relationships that don't fit the mold — you don't have to carry it alone, and you don't have to carry it while also managing someone else's discomfort or misunderstanding.

Identity Development

Community Building

Learn practical tools for finding and building queer community, especially if isolation, past rejection, or moving to a new place has left you disconnected.

Relationship Challenges

Navigate dating, partnership, communication, and relationship structures with a therapist who won't default to heteronormative assumptions about what your relationships "should" look like.

Coming Out & Disclosure

Work through decisions about coming out — to family, at work, to yourself — on your timeline, with support for whatever the outcome brings.

Family & Chosen Family

Process complicated relationships with family of origin while exploring and strengthening the families you've chosen.
